Health,Safety and Quality Control

An ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified company

R.S. Construction Co. has a history of operation of more than 50 years and has specialized in the construction of complex private sector projects such as factories, stadiums and hotels. Over 90% of our projects relate to the construction of industrial factories which means that we are deeply entrenched in understanding the importance of quality and health, safety and environment (HSE) to our clients.

Our systems and controls in these areas have evolved with each project and as a result, R.S. Construction has developed its own Health, Safety and Environment and Quality procedures based on our experience and best industry practice to ensure that we are giving the very best services to our clients. It is also for this reason that we are a ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified company.

From an HSE and Quality perspective, we believe in doing the work right the very first time and the key pillars underpinning this are as follows:

1) A Socially Conscious Top Management That Has A Reputation To Deliver High Standards Of Work

We believe that the tone of an organization comes from the top management. The top management led by Mr Kanwaljit Singh has led multiple projects over the last 40 years such as the construction of various multinational industrial units, the Mohali Cricket Stadium and multiple projects in the hospitality and healthcare sector. Mr Singh believes in doing what’s right for the long term success of our clients and our company which is only possible by delivering the best services to our clients and looking after the well being of our employees. It is for this very reason, Mr Singh has pushed our HSE and Quality agenda through the development of best in industry practices and extensive staff training around HSE and Quality Control practices.

2) Best Industry Practices Developed In Areas Of HSE And Quality Through Our HSE And Quality Policy Statements, Manuals And Standard Procedures
Our policy, manual and procedures have been designed by a combined team of industry leaders along with our inhouse team which involved our Managing Partner, General Manager, Project Managers, HSE Head, Quality Assurance Engineer and Safety Officer. The result was best in industry policy and procedures which guides our day to day working on any given project.
3) A Strong And Experienced Technical Team
A construction company is as good as the people that it employs. It is for this reason we have some of the most experienced managers and engineers in the industry who have delivered some of the most challenging projects to a very high standard. We have the right balance in terms of experience and drive to achieve the right outcome which for us is completing the project well before the deadline in a safe environment whilst achieving a good quality rating from our clients and all stakeholders.
4) A Robust Organizational Structure
We have created a team structure that enforces strict accountability and ensures flawless delivery of our HSE and Quality offering. The ultimate accountability rests with the Managing Partner who, as previously mentioned, is personally involved and supported by a strong team to ensure that the work is being done to high quality in a safe environment.
5) Key Staff Members Ensuring The Delivery Of Our HSE And Quality Offering
We have a dedicated HSE head supported by an on-site Safety officer. Our HSE head and safety officer work together to enforce the principles of our HSE procedures to ensure the safety of workers and the environment. In addition to this, all our sites have a dedicated Quality Control Engineer to ensure that the work has been executed per the specifications and drawings. We are confident that our processes and controls are strong, detailed and thorough to meet our high standards of health and safety and quality.
