RSCC was awarded the tender to construct all phases of the world renowned Mohali Cricket Stadium
Project Details
There is no doubt about the Mohali Cricket Stadium being a truly world class venue for cricket tournaments. A swamp land in 1992, RSCC turned it into one of India’s best stadium with a seating capacity of 40,000 spectators within 2 years.
RSCC was awarded this contract for it’s reputation for timely delivery without compromising on quality. During the first phase, we were faced with the onslaught of heavy rains, but due to appropriate planning, we were able to tackle this with ease.

The main Pavilion and stands were built on running riverlet with more than 1200 piles constituting the foundation. Owing to our professionalism and superior project management along with the collaboration of 2,000 workers, we were able to complete the Pavilion block and the stands before the first match on 22 November 1993.
PCA management acknowledged our strong performance and awarded us the expansion of the stadium in preparation for the first IPL match in April 2007. We successfully delivered this mammoth task which included rebuilding the Pavilion block along with other civil works, public health, interiors, electrical works, installation of fire fighting system and lifts and air conditioning within 3 months.
“We are impressed with how RSCC has gone about making the construction of PCA Stadium a grand success. They have demonstrated the highest level of commitment, efficiency, responsiveness and quality on this demanding high profile project without which the completion of the stadium would not have been possible. Time and again, they’ve upheld our trust in their abilities. Thank you very much!”
